Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Broughton High School!
Theatre Course Information: Theatre Arts & Technical Theatre Levels I – IV, Intermediate Acting, Capital Acting Company (Honors), IB Theatre SL, IB Theatre HL Productions at a glance: A fall play, competition play, student written and directed One Act performances and a Spring musical each year. History: Since opening in 1929, Broughton High School has a history of excellence in Theatre. Today, our department is showcased at events across the state. Last year, our International Thespian Troupe #4198 has brought home superior rating and critics' choice awards for monologue, duet scene, duet song, solo song and sound design at The NC International Thespian Society. Broughton has also received awards at The North Carolina Theatre Conference High School Play Festival and DPAC's Triangle Rising Star Awards. |
